THE CHEAPEST HYBRID - A NANO?!

Well it will be if Bosch sells his start/stop systems to Tata.
The car would so have a start/stop system, or so called
micro-hybrid.
It will cost more, but still much cheaper than anything else.

TOYOTA AURIS - NEW ENGINE AND START/STOP

Toyota Auris will get a new 1.33L petrol engine, that has 101Hp and
a first one with start/stop system. It has more Hp, more torque
and needs less fuel.
It is the entry Auris.

MAZDA WITH NEW DIESEL AND START/STOP SYSTEM

Mazda has released info of the new 2.2L diesel engine, that will come next Year.
It is a 2.2L 4-cylinder diesel with 185Hp and 400Nm. It needs only 5.6 l
for 100 km.

The other news is the start/stop system, for the petrol cars - at first.
But the news is the system, that has no electric motor, to stop and then run the engine.
It is called the Smart Idle Stop System (SISS).
