The 2009 Smart ForTwo will start production this fall! The new model 2009 introduced two new colors to make your smart fortwo even more exciting. The Smart ForTwo still convey innovation, functionality and joy of life that defines each and every Smart ForTwo.

To the outside, the Smart ForTwo 2009 introduced two new colors - a sport and a high concentration of red, "and a cool and elegant" in gray metallic. "These two colors will replace the 2008" yellow light " and "red metal" colors, but colors remain suspended available through your local smart center as the panels or replacement bodypanel freshup folders.

Inside the vehicle, new doors will replace the network of storage areas for solid driver and passenger doors. The flexible door nets will offer a larger and more functional storage area for you and your passengers. Finally, the LCD instrument panel now includes a loose Gas Cap indicator light to warn the driver when the tank cap is not fully closed.
