The 2011 Land Rover LR4 is for families who need plenty of passenger and cargo space, as well as almost unstoppable off-roading abilities. However, a high base price and poor fuel economy comes with all that capability.

The Land Rover LR4 deviates from the pattern followed by most luxury midsize SUVs.  It’s not a car-based crossover, tuned for good fuel economy and comfortable cruising.  Rather, the 2011 LR4 is a true SUV, capable of fording streams, crawling over rocks and keeping its owners moving, no matter what Mother Nature throws at it. The LR4 can seat up to seven with an optional third row that reviewers say can actually seat adults. The interior has high-end materials and optional high-tech features, like a rear-seat DVD system and a beverage cooler, making it an excellent family SUV.
