Va va voom, my friends! Ferrari finally revealed its very newest one off. What’s it called? A veritable mouthful: the Ferrari P540 Superfast Aperta. Pininfarina designed the car for a client from the United States. It is based around the fabulous 599 GTB Fiorano and it is the second brand new vehicle created as part of Ferrari’s Special Projects program.
The car was inspired by a Ferrari designed by Carrozzeria Fantuzzi that was actually built for one of Fellini’s films — Toby Dammit, a 1968 film. Edward Walson owned the car, and last year he approached the Italian automaker to create a more modern version of the film’s golden car.
