Geneva Motor Show 2009:Sportec SP550mc - A Porsche With CNG

The Sportec SP550mc arrive in Geneva International Motor Show one of the purposes in mind; to show the world this power does not necessarily equal ecological enemy. Although there is no reference to specific figures, Sportec that vehicle emissions of "a significant reduction in carbon dioxide emissions", in spite of the increase in power and performance is better than the factory Porsche 911 Turbo. All the components of the control unit of the powerplant have been individually reprogrammed on the Sportec Four-Wheel test platform. This precision testing has consequently helped the 550hp Sportec model to produce an enormous 750Nm at 4030 rpm. The SP 550mc is thus propelled from standstill to100km/h in just 3.7 seconds and from 0-200km/h in 11.0 seconds.

The maximum speed for this Sportec SP 550MC is 331km/h. Optional upgrades are available for the vehicle consists of a Sportec front spoiler that has been aerodynamically optimized, side skirts, 3-part apron at the back and a bigger GT-style rear wing spoiler.
