Japanese automakers officialy announced they will jointly develop an affordable, compact rear-wheel-drive sports car that will be marketed by both Subaru will make the platform and the boxer-engine, Toyota will
design and make the concept of the RWD small sport car.
Toyota is raising its stake in Subaru from 8.7 to 16.5%.
Subaru will stop making minicars - instead he will buy them from Daihatsu.
And Subaru will also get the compact cars from Toyota.
